Market Recap 30.12.09
Watching the markets is like watching a Steven Seagal film - if you don't worry about reality, you can really enjoy yourself. Like Steven, the markets can make you feel both emotions - anger and despair. So if you grabbed a bag of popcorn and watched the markets last night you would have seen, well... nothing. Wheat took back a little of the previous session's gains, beans are up slightly and corn is just blah blah blah. The universal expectation is that commodities will be flooded with fund buying interest early in the new year - beyond that activity, what happens is an unknown; what analysts are not really discussing is that - is that activity is actually a cast iron guarantee, definitely going to happen (Deutschebank announced their wheat intentions and then changed the timing) - could be something for the contrarian trader in all this... Big Aggie got me UFC Ultimate Knockouts 7 for Christmas - I ended up getting her a set of scales... and yes, I am the last of the romantics...
